1. About These Terms
These Terms form a binding agreement between you ("you", "user") and EventXplore (operated by Krishna Vijayaram, an individual sole proprietor based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India — referred to as "we", "us", "EventXplore"). They apply whenever you access or use the EventXplore mobile application, website at eventxplore.in, or any related service.
Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, Refund & Cancellation Policy, and Pricing page, which are incorporated by reference.
2. Eligibility & Account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Users between 13 and 18 must have a parent or guardian's consent.
- You must provide accurate information (name, email, phone) and keep it current.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account. Keep your login credentials secure and do not share your account.
- One person, one account. Multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions, coupons, or feature gates may be suspended.
3. Nature of the Service
EventXplore is a platform that lets users discover, organise, and attend community, social, cultural, sports, fitness, professional, and similar events. We provide tools (discovery, RSVP, group management, optional payments, optional identity verification) — we do not ourselves organise, host, or guarantee any event posted by third-party organisers.
You acknowledge that interactions, transactions, and attendance happen between you and other users (organisers, attendees). EventXplore is a venue and facilitator; we are not a party to your event-related arrangements.
4. Your Content & Conduct
"Your Content" means anything you post on EventXplore — events, photos, descriptions, comments, group posts, messages, ratings, profile information, and so on.
- You retain ownership of Your Content. By posting it on EventXplore, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to host, display, distribute, and create thumbnails/previews of Your Content for the purpose of operating the service.
- You represent that Your Content does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy, or other rights, and that you have the right to post it.
- You are solely responsible for Your Content and for any consequences of posting it.
- We may remove, edit, or restrict access to Your Content if it violates these Terms or applicable law, with or without notice.
5. Event Organisers
If you create an event, you are an "Organiser". As an Organiser you additionally agree:
- To accurately describe the event (location, time, fee, what is included, what is not).
- That you are responsible for compliance with all laws applicable to running your event — permissions, taxes, safety, age restrictions, alcohol/food regulations, etc.
- To honour the commitments you make to attendees (showing up, providing the stated experience, refunding when required).
- That EventXplore is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage suffered by attendees of your event.
- To indemnify EventXplore against any third-party claim arising from your event or from your conduct as an Organiser.
6. Paid Events & Tickets
If your event charges a fee or sells tickets:
- Payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. EventXplore does not handle or store your card or UPI credentials.
- EventXplore charges a platform service fee on each paid-event transaction. The current fee is listed on the Pricing page.
- The Organiser is the merchant of record for the event. EventXplore acts only as a payment facilitator and as the technical operator of the platform.
- Refunds, cancellations, and rescheduling are subject to the Refund & Cancellation Policy and to the Organiser's own stated policy on the event page.
- Tickets are personal and non-transferable unless the Organiser explicitly permits transfer.
7. Subscriptions (Silver, Gold)
- Joined before 1 July 2026 — 12 months free from billing start date
- Joined 1 July – 30 September 2026 — 6 months free from billing start date
- Joined after 30 September 2026 — 3 months free from billing start date
EventXplore offers optional paid subscription tiers that unlock additional Organiser features. The current tiers and prices are listed on the Pricing page. Higher tiers may be added or removed from time to time; the Platinum tier is currently labelled "Coming Soon" and is not available for purchase.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly via Razorpay (UPI Autopay or card recurring mandate). Indian Reserve Bank rules require a pre-debit notification 24 hours before each renewal; Razorpay sends this on our behalf.
- You may cancel a subscription at any time from Profile → Settings → Subscription → Cancel. Cancellation stops future renewals; access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.
- Subscription fees are inclusive of applicable GST where charged. EventXplore is not currently registered for GST and may be required to register once aggregate turnover exceeds the statutory threshold; pricing will be updated accordingly with at least 30 days' notice.
- Refund eligibility is governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
- A subscription tier granted via a coupon (e.g.,
WELCOME_GOLD_30) is bound by the coupon's stated duration. Coupon-granted tiers do not unlock features that incur variable costs to EventXplore (such as paid-event collection).
8. Identity Verification
EventXplore does not currently require government-ID identity verification. The only identity check today is email-address verification through your sign-in provider (Google Sign-In). You can use every currently-available feature with just an email account.
Government-ID identity verification may be introduced in the future for:
- Paid-event ticket collection — when organisers begin collecting money on tickets, RBI / payment-aggregator KYC rules will apply.
- Verified Organiser badge — a future, optional feature for organisers who want a verified-identity badge.
If and when either feature launches, EventXplore will update this section at least 14 days in advance to disclose the accepted documents (expected to be any one of Aadhaar via DigiLocker / authorised aggregator, PAN, Driving Licence, Passport, or Voter ID), the chosen verification provider, and what we store. We will not require any single ID, will obtain your explicit consent before initiating verification, and will not collect or store the raw Aadhaar number. See Privacy Policy §6 for the corresponding privacy commitments.
Identity verification, when introduced, will be voluntary. Without it, you will still be able to use all free features and join events. It will be required only to unlock features that involve handling money or that require a higher trust signal under applicable regulations.
9. Prohibited Content & Activities
You must not, and you must not encourage others to, do any of the following on or via EventXplore:
- Post content that is obscene, sexually explicit, pornographic, or that depicts a minor in any sexualised manner. This includes material that is illegal under Sections 67, 67A, or 67B of the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023. Any user with knowledge of such content on EventXplore must report it immediately to the Grievance Officer at krishnavijayaram@gmail.com. EventXplore will remove reported or detected child-sexual-abuse material (CSAM) within 24 hours per IT Rules 2021 Rule 3(2)(b), report it to the National Cyber Crime Reporting Portal (cybercrime.gov.in) and the relevant Special Juvenile Police Unit in line with POCSO Act §19, and preserve associated user-account and access-log information for at least 180 days per IT Rules 2021 Rule 3(1)(g).
- Post content that is defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful (including content that incites violence or discrimination based on religion, caste, race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, or disability), or that constitutes stalking.
- Post content that infringes another person's copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
- Post personally identifiable information about someone else without their consent.
- Organise, promote, or facilitate any illegal activity — including unlicensed sale of alcohol, drugs, weapons, gambling, prostitution, or any restricted financial product.
- Promote or solicit multi-level marketing schemes, financial advice without applicable SEBI/RBI registration, or any "get rich" scheme.
- Impersonate any person or organisation, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.
- Use bots, scrapers, automated tools, or scripts to access the service except via documented public APIs.
- Probe, scan, or attempt to breach the security of EventXplore or any user.
- Use EventXplore to send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, phishing attempts, or malware.
- Circumvent rate limits, feature gates, geographic restrictions, or any technical limitation.
- Resell or commercially exploit access to the platform other than via the paid features we offer.
10. Takedown & Grievances
If you believe content on EventXplore violates these Terms or your legal rights, or if you have any complaint about the service, please contact our Grievance Officer:

In accordance with Rule 3(2) of the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021, we will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days of receipt.
EventXplore also voluntarily removes content within 36 hours of a valid order from a court of competent jurisdiction or an authorised government agency, as required by law.

11. Intermediary Status & Safe Harbour
EventXplore is an "intermediary" within the meaning of Section 2(w) of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and operates in compliance with the Intermediary Guidelines, 2021. We do not initiate, select the recipient of, or modify the information contained in user-posted content. Section 79 of the IT Act limits our liability for third-party content, subject to our compliance with applicable due-diligence rules.
You agree that EventXplore is not responsible for the conduct, content, or accuracy of representations of other users on the platform.
12. Intellectual Property
The EventXplore name, logo, app design, source code, server software, illustrations, and any other materials created by us are owned by Krishna Vijayaram (or licensed to us) and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works of them without our written permission, except as expressly permitted by applicable law.
Third-party content (event photos, descriptions, etc.) remains the property of its respective owner.
13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
EventXplore is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties — express, implied, or statutory — including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, accurate, or error-free.
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.
- Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the greater of (i) the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (ii) ₹1,000 (one thousand Indian rupees).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
14. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to EventXplore (in whole or in part), with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if your continued use poses a risk to other users, to us, or to the integrity of the service.
You may stop using EventXplore at any time and delete your account from Profile → Delete Account in the app. Account deletion is described in detail in the Privacy Policy.
Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including Intellectual Property, Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability, Indemnity, and Governing Law & Dispute Resolution — survive termination.
15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to a consumer's statutory right to file a complaint at the District / State / National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission having jurisdiction over their place of residence under Section 34(2)(d) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, any other dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
Before initiating any legal action, both parties agree to attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith email correspondence with the Grievance Officer for a period of at least 30 days.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our service, our business, or applicable law. We will post the updated Terms here with a new "Last updated" date, and we will notify registered users of material changes via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of EventXplore after that date constitutes acceptance.
