Quick Bytes: Research Data Management

This workshop introduces the essential practices and policies graduate student researchers need to understand to manage and share their data responsibly. We will explore practical strategies for managing research data across its entire lifecycle—from organizing files and documenting your data to applying FAIR and CARE principles and securely preserving it in the Stanford Digital Repository. Participants will learn how to navigate data sharing, including what can be shared and appropriate licensing options, as well as how to comply with funder data sharing mandates.
