The Romance Studies Department is pleased to welcome Ignacio M. Sánchez Prado, Emerson Hinchliff Professor of Hispanic Studies, who will present Dreaming Back: Debra Castillo’s Reframing of Literary Studies. A leading scholar of Mexican and Latin American cultural studies, Professor Sánchez Prado’s research spans literature, film and media, food studies, and cultural theory, with particular attention to the intersections of institutions, aesthetics, and ideology.
