In this lecture, authors Aldo Marchesi y Vania Markarian will present their book El tiempo no para. The book aims to trace the history of the idea of human rights and to understand the impact of that concept on the development of democracies at the close of the 20th century and in progressive governments of the 21st century. It further puts forth questions on the limits of the language of human rights when considering the contemporary crisis.
