Public History Initiative Lecture: Rivka Maizlish, Southern Poverty Law Center Power and Public Memory Morrill Hall - 107 5:00 PM Rivka Maizlish was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas. A historian and political organizer, Maizlish did her graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in US Intellectual History. She is now a Senior Research Analyst at the Southern Poverty Law Center, where she works on the Whose Heritage? Project, an effort to track, record, and remove Confederate memorials across the United States.
