Midday Music: Linda Ruan (CU Music)

Join pianist Linda Ruan as she explores diverse piano music from the past 125 years. Works include Fauré’s last Nocturne, his final piano work, written while nearly deaf; Alice Ho’s Aeon, evoking Salvador Dali’s melting clocks through musical distortion of time and space; and Andy Akiho's reimagining of Sondheim’s Into the Woods, where the piano is prepared with dimes and poster tacks to bring each character to life.
