In-Sight: An Insider’s View into My Choreographies

Madhavi Mudgal will explore her journey of finding possibilities within the Odissi framework to expand its boundaries. As a firm believer in our classical traditions, and having been an active participant in the restructuring of the form by her guru, Kelucharan Mohapatra, she has choreographed several solo and group compositions over the last 45 years. This presentation will explore the ideas behind some of these compositions.
