Exploring the Trees of the Arboretum

Is your knowledge of trees limited to the ones in your backyard? Join our tree tour to learn about the wide diversity of tree species in the F.R. Newman Arboretum and why this diversity is so important to humans. Learn how these trees connect to our local flora and the global world of trees, and how they are being threatened by pests, pathogens, and changing climate. You will also gain insights into the importance of certain trees to various cultures. Walks will be held rain or shine; please dress appropriately for the weather.
