At the Table: Conversation on Food, Art & Regeneration

An intimate conversation on food, art & regeneration Join LUUM and Gifting Grove for an intimate gathering exploring the relationship between food, art, sustainability, and regenerative creative practice. Through a short guided conversation, featuring artist perspectives and an interactive food experience, we’ll explore how the things we make and the way we make them can create connection, spark conversation, and leave something meaningful behind. Together, we’ll consider how food acts as a temporary art form, connecting emotions and experiences, and how food helps us practice regeneration in our everyday work and lives. We’ll also explore how food and art can become tools for talking about sustainability in ways that feel more like an invitation instead of simply education. Our conversation will feature Annie Pennings Edmond of Chowgirls Catering, regenerative artist Lara Cornell, and Reyna Chavez from Ramsey County Environmental Health, bringing perspectives from event design, culinary arts, community education, and regenerative artistry. Expect thoughtful conversation, a little delicious participation, and a chance to experience food in a new way. All designed to leave you with a little more curiosity about what you create, what you consume, and what you can give back. This event is part of Gifting Grove’s month-long programming in celebration of the Community Exhibition of Regenerative Creativity. Through gatherings, conversations, and creative experiences, we invite our community to reflect on how we create, share, and offer our gifts in ways that nourish both people and planet.
