DESCRIPTION:Floor: Tile.\nDress Code: Casual\, comfortable\, decent. Please take off your shoes before entering the space.\nFood and beverage: Only water is allowed inside the classroom. Please bring your own supply.\nParking: 6-hour metered parking is allowed on both sides of the street from 6 pm to midnight on Monday through Friday and 8 am to midnight on Saturday. On Sundays\, street parking is free. There are also parking garages around the block.\nCCIM is wheelchair accessible. \n\nCHHANDAYAN'S PROGRAMS ARE MADE POSSIBLE BY THE NEW YORK STATE COUNCIL ON THE ARTS WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE OFFICE OF THE GOVERNOR AND THE NEW YORK STATE LEGISLATURE.\nAnd the following donors: N. Balasubramanium\, Sanjeev Bala\, Penny Brill\, Anjan and Sheba Chatterjee\, Erawati Bawle\, Matteo Banerjee\, Mandeep and Paresh Trivedi\, Keyur Thakar\, Jagat Mavani\, Rajesh Abhyankar\, and others.\n\nThis Chhandayan Kathak Dance Workshop) will be conducted by Sandeep Mahavir. Students of Kathak may join. Students of all teachers and institutions are welcome. A minimum level of learning experience is required. Students should bring their ankle bells\, notebooks\, a non-intrusive recording device and may bring their water bottle\, if needed. They should wear decent\, comfortable and appropriate attire for Kathak. They should be in practice for a certain number of hours in preparation for the workshop.  \n\nWorkshop Schedule:\nSeptember 5th\, Saturday - 12 to 4 pm\,\nSeptember 6th\, Sunday - 12 to 4 pm\,\nSeptember 7th\,  Monday - 12 to 4 pm\, \nSeptember 7th\, Monday - 4 to 6 pm\, Recitals\,\n\nIrrespective of physical ability\, we feel blessed to practice for hours without fatigue. Instead of discomfort\, we feel a growing swell of energy from an unknown\, divine source.
