DESCRIPTION:This event will provide a rare opportunity to hear directly from the state's cabinet-level official responsible for the protection of North Carolina's environmental resources. As secretary of the Department of Environmental Quality\, Reid Wilson oversees the agency charged with protecting the state's air\, soil and water quality. The discussion will address some of the agency's top priorities\, including huricane recovery\, reducing exposure to PFAS\, and strengthening statewide resilience.
